My homepage is going to be the basic template of my website, so it's important for me to get the measurements I need. Also, I need to make sure I use my colour scheme throughout the website.
Measurements
I want to put a picture of myself on my homepage, so I need to take into consideration the measurements, so I don't have any blank spaces, as the website will look untidy and will look unprofessional.
- Picture for homepage measurements - 120 pixels height/550 pixels width
I have also taken down the measurements for the sidebar of my web pages
- Sidebar for homepage and other website pages - 475 pixels height/ 230 pixels width.
Colours
I have also decided that my background colour is going to be *FFCC99. I have also chosen the background colour for my banner, to make sure my audience won't be confused. My font for the banner is going to be Adobe Garamond Pro Bold Italic and my colour is going to be *FFFFFF.
Problems
When customising my links, I have found that one of my links that I have used, will not change colour in the browser.
I have also had problems with inserting my banner onto my web page.
